WHY DID I MAKE YACHT ROCK DRUMLOOPS?
Yacht Rock refers to the music of the 70s and 80s that is commonly known as soft rock. This genre of music is a favorite of mine, with soulful artists like Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins and grooving bands like Steely Dan and Pablo Cruise.
I wanted to create a drum loop library in the style of Yacht Rock because I really love the genre. I dug out my vintage drums and tuned them down, put some tea towels on the toms and started recording. I hope you enjoy my drum loops and they spark your creativity. I had a blast making them!
